So, Misty, how about scrapping the Heroes for Hire idea and collecting up Black Widow, Spiderwoman, Silver Sable and Colleen and just doing a Marvel Birds of Prey?
You can be Babs, Natasha can be Dinah, Jessica can be Helena, Silver can be Zinda and Colleen can be… well, that other role Dinah fills for Babs… ;)
Like last year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs made me love hockey all over again, the DC reboot is making me love Marvel all over again. I keep remembering now all the great things I enjoyed in my Marvel period. Misty being near the top.

You know, I’m really having fun with staying away from the comic company who shall not be named today… the wonderful Misty Knight. I’m remembering my love for Marvel in the 1970s and all the great characters they had then that, guess what, are still basically the SAME great characters today!

If you don’t vote for Misty, she’ll get Heroes for Hire on your case!
Oh, don’t you even be thinking about voting for Psylocke today! Misty all the way!

In one corner with have the badass Misty Knight. Misty’s a former cop with a bionic arm that’s been working with her best friend, Colleen Wing, for a long while. Despite being one of the most popular POC characters from Marvel, she hasn’t been the protagonist of her own book for a while. We’ll be seeing her in Heroes for Hire soon.
In the other corner stands long-time member of the X-Men, Psylocke. Twin sister of Captain Britain, Betsy’s history is a long and convoluted one. Nevertheless, she’s a strong and important member of the mutant community. She’s currently a member of Uncanny X-Force.
Time to do a Misty Knight spam maybe! :) (I do believe that’s my scan above for her btw!)
Before I go home today, a couple for my friends out there….
one for awyeahlife…

And finally, for awyeahlife and anyone else who might ship these two, here is a touching scene from the end of the story after they’ve both kicked some total ass and killed everyone around.
In the story, they end up getting captured and addicted to heroin, only Misty doesn’t really because she keeps asking them to shoot up her bionic arm and they’re like “OK makes sense” and she eventually busts out but not before poor Colleen has already been addicted.
Colleen decides to kick the heroin habit the way all female heroes in the 70s did.
BUCK NAKED HEROIN HEALING! (ummm… of course)
