A long time ago I made a post about how few female Fatheads there were. (A Fathead is a giant wall sticker you can stick on your wall of various sports stars.)
I was happy to see that while they haven’t greatly expanded the choices for female sports stars, there are still more than there used to be. Now you can get a huge Sue Bird on your wall. (Though I think my wall would have the Candace Parker one. :) )
The Wonder Woman Fathead. In addition to the big single character, you get a bunch of smaller ones as well I guess. (Catwoman had a much smaller selection.)
So the other night I was watching the basketball game on TV and saw a commerical for Fathead.Com who creates this huge (I guess they’re) stickers that you can slap up on your wall of your favorite team and favorite athlete. And the commercial showed happy boys AND girls going WOW! I love Fatheads! etc etc.
So that got me wondering exactly what female athletes might be features on Fathead.com (because I didn’t see any in the commercial). NONE. Not one single female athlete. No Venus Williams. No Paula Creamer. No Candace Parker.
The only female Fathead giant decals you can get (other than some Disney princesses) are Catwoman and Wonder Woman in the Superheroes section.
And Catwoman is in her old 1940s costume.
