Is this true? If so: AMAZING! :D
Not only is it true, but this year, as a 19 year old in the 2010 Women’s World Twenty20 Championship match against New Zealand, she was the player of the match as Australia took the World Twenty20 Cricket title.
Here is Ellyse Perry in a rare non-sporting moment. As of last I know, she still hasn’t decided between soccer or cricket and is still pursuing both.
What’s amazing about Ellyse Perry is that, less than two weeks after becoming the youngest ever player to represent Australia on the national cricket team, she ALSO became the youngest ever player to represent Australia on their national soccer team, scoring a goal two minutes into a World Cup Qualifier game against Hong Kong!
This young Australian woman is Ellyse Perry. Now 19 years old, at the age of 16 years, 9 months, she became the youngest member of the Australian National Cricket team, male or female.
She’s a bowler (like a pitcher in softball sorta) and she’s celebrating here for taking a wicket (like getting an out in softball sorta).
Today, it’s about uniforms… Gotta say I’ve always loved the Australian national basketball team uniforms.
